Hello to all my friends and my Friends With Flair Friday Buddies as well! I have had company for a while and we got a new puppy. I also have my parents dog here so I have 4 dogs and company. However, my Bestie and I have accomplished many “scrappy” things. I have done 17 cards and we have made some altered projects. We have attended 2 Copic classes and still plan to attend The Great American Scrapbook Convention for 3 days. I am having a fun time. I hope that you are too. I have a Father’s Day card to share with you. I used “You Are My Main Squeeze”.
I used my Copics and then I used Buff flocking from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Here is a close-up:

Well the bad news is that today is my last day as GIU. The good news is that today is Good Friday. Don’t forget that this is Friends With Flair Friday as well. Sunday will be Easter. This stamp is your wings exist by Phyllis Harris, artist, that does stamps for Unity. The sentiment is part of the stamp set. Here are the Copic colors that I used: B-000, B-00, E-11, E-13, E-15, E-23, E-37, E-42, E-43, E-50, E-59, and YG-17. The papers are Prima Madeline. The bling is from Michael’s. The week always goes by way too fast. You want to do so many more cards but time doesn’t allow you to finish as many as you want. Today’s card is using Lizzie Girl (Showered With Love). Isn’t she so cute? I used Unity’s Sketch #15.
I used Copics E-11, E-15, E-17, E-19, and E-50. I also used multiple Derwent Inktense color pencils. For the buttons I put Icicle Sticles and for the rain I used Baby Blue Liquid Pearls. I stamped the image on Debbie Mumm Paper. The umbrella paper is part of the Spring Brights Collection Paper. I used washi tape, ribbon, and a button from my stash.

Well, welcome to Day 3 of my Growing In Unity journey. Today I have used “Oh, Snap” as the main Unity stamp and I love, love “Bunches of Love” to use for my insides. I have used, “Happy birthday to you” from “Bunches of Love”. I have a girlfriend that is a photographer and her birthday is Sunday. She is going to be an Easter baby this year! I made myself a homemade starburst stencil. I used Dried Marigold Distress Ink Pad to color my card. I had some camera washi tape. I also had some bling in my stash that I was able to use. Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then my Distress Markers to color: Squeezed Lemonade, Tattered Rose, Spiced Marmalade, Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet, Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed, and Barn Door.

Day 2 of GIU! I love rhymes. I pulled out my Bee Happy Hexagons stamp kit from Unity. I went to Pinterest and looked at all of the cards I could with hexagons on them. I used a Studio Calico sketch. That was when the idea hit me that I wanted to do something to “Bee You-nique!” I had heard something on television this morning about how we are teaching our female children not to be aggressive and that we are holding them back. I honestly did not hear the entire thing. Do any of the rest of you have the television on when you are working and just hear bits and pieces of it? I have corrected the spelling on my card.
I was pulling out all of my different Phyllis Harris, Donna Downey, Fashionista, and Angie Girl stamps. I have 2 stamps that are repeats. I will do my own giveaway for whomever comments every day on my blog. I thought that I would pull 3 different names. Some of us cannot figure out how to get the Random.org to work on wordpress. The first winner will win the 2 Itty Bittys from Unity. The second winner will win one of my stamps. The third winner will win one of my stamps. (What a time we are having! The past month our puppy had surgery and we almost lost him. I went to visit a friend in Florida for a week. Then this past weekend I took the 2 days of certification classes from Copic. Now we are having a tornado watch and I am having trouble keeping the internet going. I am posting my card and hoping that things go off without a hitch.)
I am so excited to be the Growing In Unity Gal this week. I did this last year and had so much fun. I’m excited to be doing it again this year. I started off the week with a couple of stamps that I got from the Kit of the Month from February 2014. It is being offered today for $26 . I especially love this kit. While I was in Florida I took classes at Sparkle N Sprinkle so I wanted to use some of the things that I had bought and learned from there. I heat embossed my egg as well as my sentiment. Then I used the brushable glue to color the flowers. Today is the last day for Unity’s Big Spring Garage Sale. Hurry so that you can take advantage of huge savings.
