Challenge #8 Week #4 from The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog

Hello again.  If you have not checked out the Challenge Blog over at The Crafter’s Cafe then that is exactly what you should do right now.  This card is for Challenge #8 Week #4–Stitching Faux or Real.  I used Adorable Patchwork Pig  from The Stamping Boutique .  I colored 2 digital images and layered them, then stitched them on my sewing machine that I use ONLY for scrapbooking.  I found the sentiment “Hogs and Kisses” on the internet.  I used “Animal Farm Paper” and “Swirl” paper that I bought off Etsy.  I also found the scalloped circle on the internet.  I used a Sarasota Heart stamp with TH Distress Fired Brick ink and some Cotton Candy Stickles.  I used my TH Distress Marker Fired Brick to go around the Hogs and Kisses sentiment.  Here is the list of Copics:

You still have a couple of days to enter.  I can tell you that I love, love, love this digital stamp.  It was fun to play with and I think that it made the cutest card.  As a side note, I found out that pigs have 4 different color of eyes.  I find that very interesting.  You know the medical community says that they are like humans or I guess that some of their organs can be used to replace ours?  I just find it interesting to know that they have more than one color of eyes.  This is a fun little challenge.  I hope you have been inspired to go check it out.  You know that there is more inspiration when you click this link!  Please check it out.  Until we meet again…Ciao Baby…
