Spa Girl — Fresh Brewed Designs

Some Things Are Better Rich--FBD

This is for the first challenge on Fresh Brewed Designs for January.  They have changed from weekly challenges to monthly challenges.  I had 4 of these images colored already & the coffee cup already cut out.  I am sending this to a friend of mine who I met when we both lived at the National Association of Letter Carriers Retirement Apartment Complex in Florida.  It is the only group of its kind and we had a great ten years there.  We are happy to be closer to family but we miss the best friends we had ever, ever had & the fabulous weather of Florida.  The fun places within an hour or two drive from us were amazing.  We gave up a lot when we moved.  I’m not saying that we didn’t get anything in return but boy, oh boy do we miss the fabulous things we left.  Those friendships we will always have but it is just different not getting to be there every day!  The stamp that I used from Fresh Brewed Designs is “Spa Girl” and can be found here.  Heather is having a blog hop this weekend.  Check that out here.  I hope you find inspiration on my blog.  I try to make something that will be pleasing.  I have several other things to show soon.  Until we meet again…Ciao…

I LOVE the fiery red and the distressed looking cup shape.
    WONDERFUL and FUN creation!
Thank you so much for playing along this month at Freshly Brewed Challenges!

  2. Gorgeous work here Pattie!!!! I love the jewels acting as steam! How clever.. I love the look and feel of the card, the colors and so comforting, goes along with the comfort of sitting and having a cup of coffee! Love the shape of the card too and the digital! I think it would have been easier to say I love everything about it!!!!

  3. Patti, this is so fantastic! Just lovely! You have convinced me that I need these stamps, lol! I know what you mean about moving. We absolutely love our next-door neighbors and we would have a hard time moving away from them just because our friendship is so close.
