Nana Vic’s Challenge at Lady Anne’s

WeddingCouple--NanaVic--LadyAnne

The May Challenge at Lady Anne’s “Anything Goes” sponsored by Nana Vic I chose to use the digital stamp “Wedding Couple”.  My niece got married on Saturday, May 4th.  It was a beautiful wedding and I thought that this was the perfect image for a card for them.  Her colors were grey, blue, and white.  So therefore, my color choice.  If you use one of Nana Vic’s digital images when you enter the challenge you win a $15 prize instead of a $12 prize.  The challenge runs from May 7th to June 4th.  I’m hoping that you will join us.  Please go and see what the rest of the DT has made to inspire you.  I am on my way today to my new home.  Please be crafty, be inspired, be happy, and be blessed.  Today, Sunday, as I am writing this we all passed a huge wreck on the highway that we know no one could have survived.  It was there when my brother and sister-in-law went through 2 or 3 hours before us.  It was there when my parents went through an hour before us and it was still there, just the tail end of it, when we went through.  We never know what is going to happen to us.  I just want to remind everyone to make the best of the time you have.  It is just a loving thought.  Hugs~Patti

Thank You

ThankYou_3--StampFairy.com

If you follow Holley’s Blog as so many people do, then you know quite a while back she had a big giveaway.  We have been so busy trying to get ready for moving and with the upcoming wedding that I hadn’t gotten her “Thank You” card done yet.  But I hadn’t put away the gifts she had sent me because I wouldn’t let myself pack them before sending her a “Thank You” note.  In fact the “Thanks that was so nice” is from one of the stamps she sent me!  Holley’s favorite colors are yellow and orange.  My little bear is from StampFairy.com and is the third picture if you are going left to right and around.  If you are going top to bottom then it is the second one.  Anyway, I noticed that Created With Love is having their challenge on The Call of the Wild and thought that my card would fit.  So I am going to enter it.  Thank you so much Miss Holley, if you stop by and see this card.  Thank you all for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments.  I love all of you more than you know.  Please stay crafty, inspired, loved, and blessed…Ciao…

To Have and To Hold

To Have and To Hold--DS4J--Jen

DS4J winner badge

I would like to add this one tonight as well.  With my niece’s wedding shower being Sunday I wanted to make her card.  Jen from Digital Stamps 4 Joy had this gorgeous digital stamp that was perfect.  I paper pieced the dress and then used my liquid pearls to make the pearls.  Her colors are navy, grey, and white so I tried to stay as close to that as I possibly could.  Jen’s signature is still on the digital but it is under the paper.  This time Digistamps4Joy is having their challenge #64–Anything Goes.  I never get to enter their challenges so I am excited to be able to enter this time.  I hope that they like my card.  I wish you many more crafty days, many blessings, much happiness, and tons of inspiration.  Oh, one more thing!  If you love this digital as much as I did and you would like one, you can buy it here for $1.50.  What a bargain!  Ciao…

John'sBirthdayCardPt3

My brother’s birthday is Sunday but I will not be here for his birthday so I am putting his card on today.  Meljen’s Designs is having a 50% off sale for April.  Not only that but they are giving everybody a chance to win 3 digital designs.  How is that for their BIG 3 year birthday bash?  Pretty special, right!!!  Well, the challenge there right now calls for circles and lots of them.  I didn’t add my own circles per se but the designs that I used from their shop have a lot of circles on them.  The first design I used is called, “Topsy Turvy Birthday Cake”.  Lots of circles on this little design on the cake, I tried using them as strawberries the best I could but they are still more of a circle.  Then there are all the circles from the candle light.  The second image I used is “Fireman Bear”.  Of course for circles, there are his cheeks, his eyes, his hands, nose, and then again the water spray.  You can buy each of these images for only $1.50 now that they are 1/2 price.  My baby brother, my only brother, is turning 52, so I had to give him a hard time about that.  You see, I turned 55 this year and my sister turns 54 this year.  We are all so close in age and we are getting to the age where it is all the same truly.  I hope you like my little card.  May you be happy, inspired, blessed, and crafty!  Ciao…

Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blogspot Sponsored By Fred She Said

This month at Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blogspot Challenge #15 our theme is ATC/Fat Page.  I went with ATC.  This lovely image came to me from Fred She Said with the image “Diamond Rose with Paper Pricking Pattern”.  I absolutely love the way that this turned out.  I tried putting blue ink on the back of the card as well as the ATC card but I honestly don’t think that it really made the paper pricking show up any more than it already did.  I hope that you enjoy this as much as I did.  Please stop by the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blogspot for more inspiration.  We love for you to join our challenges and you know you like to make ATCs and fat pages!  Right?  And I ask you to please go by Fred She Said.  You may not realize how much it means to the sponsors.  It honestly means the difference in keeping these stores open or having them close.  We have had too many stores close just since I started doing this 5 years ago.  They need our support.  Thank you for stopping by today.  I love you and appreciate you.  Please come back.  Stay crafty, stay inspired, be happy, and most importantly Be Blessed!!!   Ciao…

Alicia’s Little Shop

Coloring Alicia - Alicia's Little Shop

There is a shop that hasn’t been around very long.  The name of it is Alicia’s Little Shop.  Our next door neighbor knows that my husband has been ill the past 5 months so she paid to have someone come mow the front lawn the other day.  That is the kind of neighbors we have around here.  We have been blessed with great neighbors.  Anyway, I wanted to make her a thank you card.  I really liked Coloring Alicia.  When you click on Coloring Alicia it will take you to the post I saw that convinced me to use this particular image.  I thought that I would put my card in their challenge here.  I actually had done this card another way and went to enter this and saw that it was supposed to have decorated paper.  I went back and looked through my papers.  I had some nice pink and brown paper with writing on it and thought that was perfect for my card.  I have looked at the first card’s picture up against this one and I truly like this one much better.  I think that by trying to show the decorated paper with the photo editor, I ended up taking too much of the color out of the rest of my card.  I apologize for that.  The card really is pretty in real life.  I colored another image of this at the same time but left the hair and eyes so that I can fill that in for the person I make it for next time.  As always, I hope that you have been inspired.  Stay crafty, be happy, be inspired, and be blessed…Ciao…

Challenge #14 at the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blogspot is being sponsored by Rick St. Dennis.  If you click Rick St. Dennis you will be taken to his Etsy shop.    The digital image I chose to use is called Euro Papillion and unfortunately Rick has since removed it from his shop.  I love it though.  I loved it enough to put it on the front with the saying, “Love is like a butterfly, hold it too tight and it will crush, hold it too loose and it will fly.”  And then I used it again on the inside with the pop out fold.  I saw this on another site that did not give directions on how to make it and I had to wing it.  I know that I did NOT do it exactly correct.  There is a site that sells the cards by the 1/2 dozen but I didn’t want to buy one already made and probably most of you wouldn’t want to buy them either.  We want to know how to make them ourselves.  If you have the directions to this fold, would you please share them with me?  I would love to know how to make it exactly right!!!  The tag at the top says, “SOAR”.  To get to Rick’s Facebook page click Facebook.  Either one will take you there.  He has a fun Facebook page and has giveaways fairly often.  If you would like to go to Rick’s Challenge Blog then click here.  They are currently working on a new one and when that is posted I will change this so it will reflect the new change.  Our challenge is Green and/or St. Patrick’s Day.  I hope that you are inspired to go out and create with a bit o’ green!  There are a lot of great images for green.  You will see a lot more inspiration by going to CCCB and looking at the Design Team’s brilliant work.  It truly is a blessing to be working with such talented people.  As always stay crafty, be inspired, be happy, and Be Blessed…Ciao…

Cosy Trike Girl by Nana Vic for Vickie’s Challenge at Lady Anne’s

Girl On Trike - Stamp -N- Doodle

Lady Anne has changed the challenges to run from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month.  That means that today is the first day of Vickie’s Challenge for Anything Goes at Lady Anne’s.  You will have all month to enter “Anything Goes”.  This awesome image came from Nana Vic’s Digital Stamp Shop and is called Cosy Trike Girl.  Nana Vic is having a 50% off sale until March 7th.  This particular digital stamp comes with Cosy Trike Girl, Cosy Trike Boy, Christmas Cosy Trike Girl, and Christmas Cosy Trike Boy if you want at the unbelievable price of $9.00 which at 50% off would be a fantastic price of $4.50.  That’s a great deal!  Did you notice the “Yield Imagining In Process” sign?  I bought a set of digital stamps from TLC called Lil Racer Set that has 8 digital stamps in it for $2.88.  I thought that it went perfect with this stamp.  You know that any stamp with a child reminds me of my children when they were younger or my grandchildren now.  I had this paper that was called, “Playground” I bought when we lived in Florida.  I thought that it went well with the image.  I just felt that if I put a lot more on the card that I would have a card that was too busy.  There are several fantastic cards over at Vickie’s Challenge at Lady Anne’s.  I am sure that you will get plenty of inspiration over there.  I hope that I have provided you some inspiration myself.  As always Be Crafty…Be Inspired…Be Happy…Be Blessed…Ciao…
