Nana Vic’s Challenge at Lady Anne’s

WeddingCouple--NanaVic--LadyAnne

The May Challenge at Lady Anne’s “Anything Goes” sponsored by Nana Vic I chose to use the digital stamp “Wedding Couple”.  My niece got married on Saturday, May 4th.  It was a beautiful wedding and I thought that this was the perfect image for a card for them.  Her colors were grey, blue, and white.  So therefore, my color choice.  If you use one of Nana Vic’s digital images when you enter the challenge you win a $15 prize instead of a $12 prize.  The challenge runs from May 7th to June 4th.  I’m hoping that you will join us.  Please go and see what the rest of the DT has made to inspire you.  I am on my way today to my new home.  Please be crafty, be inspired, be happy, and be blessed.  Today, Sunday, as I am writing this we all passed a huge wreck on the highway that we know no one could have survived.  It was there when my brother and sister-in-law went through 2 or 3 hours before us.  It was there when my parents went through an hour before us and it was still there, just the tail end of it, when we went through.  We never know what is going to happen to us.  I just want to remind everyone to make the best of the time you have.  It is just a loving thought.  Hugs~Patti

Mother’s Day from 613 Avenue Create and Bugaboo and Me, of Course! :)

Words from An Angel--A Mother's Love2--Bugaboo--613 Ave CreateWordsFromAnAngel--AMother'sLove1--Bugaboo-613AvenueCreate

The new challenge at 613 Avenue Create is Mother’s Day.  Bugaboo honored us once again by sponsoring us.  I chose “Words From An Angel–A Mother’s Love”.  I made two, one for my Mom and one for my Mother-in-Law.  I also made them into little gift boxes.  We bought gift cards to put in them.  My Mom’s favorite color is blue so the blue one is hers.  My husband’s family never talked about their favorite colors.  Is that strange to you or is your family like that too?  We talked about that a lot and talk about it with our children and grandchildren.  And people that talk about those types of things know that some people change their preferences on and off throughout the years and some people stick to the same color all their lives.  Most of my immediate family, except for my brother, has always liked blue.  He liked yellow when he was young but now he likes blue.  I have a 3 year old granddaughter that is in love with the color purple.  Since we are moving on Tuesday and my entire family is going to be together for the wedding, the plan is to have Mother’s Day this Sunday.  That way my Mom will get to celebrate it with all her children.  We will probably give my Mother-in-Law her gift on Monday so that she will have it before we leave.  I am not particularly happy with these pictures I took but I have been in such a hurry that I didn’t do my best job with them.  I apologize for that.  613 Avenue Create is ALWAYS Anything Goes so don’t panic if you want to enter something else.  We just suggest another theme for a challenge.  The DT at 613 Avenue Create has done a fantastic job so be sure to stop by to get some inspiration for whatever creativity you are thinking of.  In the meantime, Be Crafty, Be Inspired, Be Happy, Be Blessed, and Remember that life is short so love those who love you and try to keep life calm and inspiring for them.  Be a blessing for each other.  I know my friends and family are blessings to me.  Thanks for stopping by and thank you for always leaving such wonderful remarks.  They lift me up more than you will ever know.  Ciao…

Challenge #16 Week 1 at CCCB

RoseAngel--RSD--CCCB

RoseAngel2--RSD--CCCB

I am SO blessed to be on such great DT teams that have Rick St. Dennis sponsor them. This month at CCCB we are focusing on Mother’s or women.  I have used Rose Angel from Rick St. Dennis’ Etsy Shop.  I was thinking about my Grandma when I picked this digital stamp.  She definitely had a green thumb.  We lost her in 2002 and I still think of her almost every day and look forward to the day I will see her again.  ”The warmth of an angel’s light can comfort and illuminate the whole world.”  I found that quote and thought it spoke volumes especially when I had used the color yellow for my angel.  I wanted to make something look like sunlight coming through but I didn’t want it to get in the way of the paper.  I’ve had this ribbon almost since I started scrapbooking.  I hope that you have enjoyed my card.  I am probably in the middle of packing and also packing up to get ready to go to my niece’s wedding this weekend.  I am SO excited for her.  My granddaughters are going to be the flower girls.  I’m sure everyone will be beautiful.  I hope that you are having a great time and finding lots of inspiration.  Stay crafty, inspired, happy, blessed, and come by anytime.  We’ll share a cup of coffee or tea and look at each other’s cards.  :)  Until then…Ciao…

Lady Anne’s Stamp Anything Goes

Red Rubber Designs honored us at  Lady Anne’s “Stamp Anything Goes” Challenges by being our May sponsor.  I chose the Sunshine Rubber Stamp Set from Red Rubber Designs to do my card with.  I truly enjoyed coloring the flowers and making my card.  The challenge started today and goes through May 31st.  The prize will be a rubber stamp set of the winner’s choice (valued up to $15).  I certainly hope you will be inspired to join in and play with Lady Anne’s group.  It is an awesome prize and she has an awesome Design Team there to inspire you.  For now stay crafty…be inspired…be happy…and be blessed…Ciao…

Thank You

ThankYou_3--StampFairy.com

If you follow Holley’s Blog as so many people do, then you know quite a while back she had a big giveaway.  We have been so busy trying to get ready for moving and with the upcoming wedding that I hadn’t gotten her “Thank You” card done yet.  But I hadn’t put away the gifts she had sent me because I wouldn’t let myself pack them before sending her a “Thank You” note.  In fact the “Thanks that was so nice” is from one of the stamps she sent me!  Holley’s favorite colors are yellow and orange.  My little bear is from StampFairy.com and is the third picture if you are going left to right and around.  If you are going top to bottom then it is the second one.  Anyway, I noticed that Created With Love is having their challenge on The Call of the Wild and thought that my card would fit.  So I am going to enter it.  Thank you so much Miss Holley, if you stop by and see this card.  Thank you all for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments.  I love all of you more than you know.  Please stay crafty, inspired, loved, and blessed…Ciao…

613 Avenue Create With Rick St. Dennis

Brigiette--RSD--613AveCreate

At 613 Avenue Create we are starting a challenge with Rick St. Dennis’ images and using the colors to celebrate Earth Day.  Here are the colors:

color #3

I used Rick’s image Brigiette.  Isn’t she quite the lady?  I just love her and it was so much fun to create with her.  Now the challenges at 613 Avenue Create are ALWAYS “Anything Goes” so don’t feel like you have to use these colors.  This is just an added challenge if you so desire.  Isn’t it nice to have a little bit of a challenge thrown in?  I know that we try to get our cards put into as many challenges as we can once we have created them.  Perhaps you can use these colors and then make that work with whatever else is going on with the other challenges.  I am forever grateful for you stopping by my blog and always enjoy your comments.  I DO appreciate you taking your time to stop by and look as well as comment.  I apologize for being so busy lately and not being as vigilant to get by your blogs or to reply to your comments.  We just have a little over two weeks before we leave if everything goes as planned.  My posts are going to be automatic now.  I won’t be making comments or anything unless I just have an extra second.  We still have the wedding in this time frame as well.  So adios, please take care of yourselves until I am able to get back on.  I have really worked hard to try to get cards done so that I still have posts going while I am out.  I hope you will still stop by and I hope that you will enjoy what I have created.  I love you all.  In the meantime, be inspired…be creative…be happy…be blessed…Ciao…

Challenge #15 Week 3 at Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blogspot

This month at CCCB for Challenge #15 our theme has been Fat Pages/ATCs.  Nikki at Limited Runs was gracious enough to sponsor us and I chose Ladybug Swirl Cupcake for making my ATC.  I had some cupcake paper for the bg.  I wanted to try to make the whipped cream like clouds with the swirls that the ladybugs would make in flight.  I wanted the icing to be blue like the sky and the liner to be green like grass since it had flowers on it.  I added the shamrock, some ladybugs, and some Stickles.  There is still a little over 14 days to enter and we don’t have very many entries.  You have a great chance of winning.  All of us at CCCB would love to have at least 100 more entries.  Everyone can make a fat page or an ATC.  I am wishing you a crafty day, happiness, blessings, and inspiration.  Ciao…

To Have and To Hold

To Have and To Hold--DS4J--Jen

DS4J winner badge

I would like to add this one tonight as well.  With my niece’s wedding shower being Sunday I wanted to make her card.  Jen from Digital Stamps 4 Joy had this gorgeous digital stamp that was perfect.  I paper pieced the dress and then used my liquid pearls to make the pearls.  Her colors are navy, grey, and white so I tried to stay as close to that as I possibly could.  Jen’s signature is still on the digital but it is under the paper.  This time Digistamps4Joy is having their challenge #64–Anything Goes.  I never get to enter their challenges so I am excited to be able to enter this time.  I hope that they like my card.  I wish you many more crafty days, many blessings, much happiness, and tons of inspiration.  Oh, one more thing!  If you love this digital as much as I did and you would like one, you can buy it here for $1.50.  What a bargain!  Ciao…

Birthday Greetings

John'sBirthdayCardPt3

My brother’s birthday is Sunday but I will not be here for his birthday so I am putting his card on today.  Meljen’s Designs is having a 50% off sale for April.  Not only that but they are giving everybody a chance to win 3 digital designs.  How is that for their BIG 3 year birthday bash?  Pretty special, right!!!  Well, the challenge there right now calls for circles and lots of them.  I didn’t add my own circles per se but the designs that I used from their shop have a lot of circles on them.  The first design I used is called, “Topsy Turvy Birthday Cake”.  Lots of circles on this little design on the cake, I tried using them as strawberries the best I could but they are still more of a circle.  Then there are all the circles from the candle light.  The second image I used is “Fireman Bear”.  Of course for circles, there are his cheeks, his eyes, his hands, nose, and then again the water spray.  You can buy each of these images for only $1.50 now that they are 1/2 price.  My baby brother, my only brother, is turning 52, so I had to give him a hard time about that.  You see, I turned 55 this year and my sister turns 54 this year.  We are all so close in age and we are getting to the age where it is all the same truly.  I hope you like my little card.  May you be happy, inspired, blessed, and crafty!  Ciao…
